5. Fold the edges of the circle towards the center, covering the filling completely to form a square or rectangular shape, resembling a “lifafa” or envelope.
6. Gently roll out the stuffed dough into a square or rectangular shape, taking care not to let the filling spill out.
7. Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat. Place the lifafa paratha on the hot tawa and cook on both sides until golden brown, applying ghee or oil as needed.
8. Once cooked, remove from the tawa and serve hot with your favorite curry or chutney.
